26% of parents make the decision to home school for educational reasons re : individualised,& flexible.
22% wanted to engage more with the child’s education as they believed it was their responsibility.
19% believed homeschooling came down to religion, beliefs and values.
11% said it was about social development.
8% said school did not meet the child’s needs.
7% to enable children to have a strong self concept.
7% as parents wanted their children to learn in a positive and not disruptive environment.
